Panel Specification and Procurement
We can work with you to specify and procure all required project materials, including pre-wired relay panels and all required ancillary equipment.
Construction & Commissioning
We can perform or provide support for all protection system construction and commissioning tasks. During construction, we can provide remote or in-field support to ensure projects stay on track and on time. After construction, our engineers can develop thorough commissioning documentation and are field-trained in commissioning tasks to make ensure your new protection system functions as intended.
All of our engineers are field-trained and qualified to provide hands-on training to engineers, technicians, and operators. Fundamentals or project-specific classroom instruction is also available.
Relay and Integration Settings
We are proficient in the development of protective relay settings and integration for nearly all utility and industrial applications. We have comprehensive experience in the protection of large synchronous machines, and in the mitigation of arc-flash hazards.
Grounding System Design & Testing
PPE is able to assist with grounding system design to ensure proper operation of protective devices and minimize step and touch potential hazards to personnel in accordance with IEEE and internal standards. In the cases where a grounding system is already in-place, we can perform testing to verify the site is in-line with internal and industry-accepted standards for earth resistivity and ground potential rise (GPR).
